WHY MUST BINDINGS BE INDEMNIFIED?

The Importance of Manufacturer-Backed Bindings: Safety and Liability.

We have this policy to ensure the safety and satisfaction of our customers.

Checking the manufacturer’s warranty status of ski bindings before making any adjustments, mounts, or re-mounts serves two primary purposes:

#1: SAFETY

Bindings that are indemnified by the manufacturer are guaranteed to meet current safety standards. Working on bindings that are no longer backed by a warranty could pose a safety risk to the customer.

#2: LIABILITY

Adhering to manufacturer guidelines helps us reduce the risk of any legal repercussions that could arise from working on non-indemnified bindings.

WHAT IS “INDEMNIFICATION”?

Indemnification, in the context of ski bindings, refers to the manufacturer’s guarantee that a particular binding model meets industry safety standards. If a binding is indemnified, it means the manufacturer will back its product in terms of performance and safety, which is crucial for both the user and the shop providing the service.
