(Nordic Touring)

Classic cross-country skiing is very similar to walking or running, and utilizes a forward and back striding motion. Classic skiing is great for beginners and families.

Classic off-trail skiing is a new age version of the classic sport, that allows skiers to take their adventure off trail. This is not recommend for beginners to the sport.

SKATE
(Nordic Endurance)

Skate skiing is a more recent sport, similar to ice skating. Skate skiing is more technical than classic, and you can achieve higher speeds and further glides.

Skill Level: Advanced – Expert
Terrain: Groomed Trails / In-Track
Attributes: Stability, Speed, Grip
Minimum Weight: 110lbs

DAMAGE INSURANCE

We offer an optional repairable damage insurance for $3/day per person. This damage insurance covers any repairable damage that may happen to the equipment while exploring the mountains.
Repairable damage can be generally defined as: minor damage, typically cosmetic, that can be repaired in our shop.
This includes, but is not limited to: cosmetic scratches, base repair (p-tex), and epoxy work (delamination).

Unrepairable damage includes but is not limited to: compressed edges, blown-out edges, major delamination, binding/brake damage, repairs requiring 3rd party repair, loss, theft, or totally broken.

Rental items that are damaged beyond repair will be charged for the full cost of replacement regardless of insurance.

Glide in the winter wonderland of Solitude, Utah at Solitude’s Nordic Center. The Soli Nordic Center offers twenty kilometers of fantastic trails with gorgeous views and a variety of terrain. This awesome Nordic Center offers both classic and skate style Nordic skiing, as well as snowshoe adventures too.

The gorgeous Sundance Nordic Center offers 15 kilometers of handsomely groomed cross country ski trails suitable for both classic and skate skiing styles. Sundance is known for it’s fantastically well kept groomed trails and offering terrain great for every skill level.

The best Park City Nordic skiing experience, with 18 kilometers of trails to choose from, there are plenty of adventures no matter what skill level you are. The tracks are divided into 3 main sections: the 3km loop at the Nordic Center, a 5km loop offering hills and speeds, and finally a 10km loop offering stunning views of Park City.
